A brand-new purveyor of thoughtfully sourced antique vessels, furniture, and home decor pieces, Vesselle chose us to build their brand and website from the ground up.
We began the project by creating a comprehensive brand guide booklet tailored to the client’s needs and informed by our team's competitor research. Vesselle planned to open a brick-and-mortar store in Vancouver after the launch of their e-commerce website. With this in mind, we carefully selected elements that would complement and fit within an in-person context, such as a cool-toned colour palette and photography guidance emphasizing natural textures. The result was a beautiful brand identity that brought Vesselle’s calming and thoughtful character to life.
Our branding work informed the subsequent website design and development project. We created a custom e-commerce website built on Shopify Plus, designed to be as tactile and soothing as their in-person shop will be. We added advanced filtering capabilities and segmented collections for an intuitive navigation experience, as well as product page Metafields for simplified product uploading.
During the final phases of web development, we created a comprehensive social media strategy detailing our recommendations for Vesselle’s profiles. Additionally, our Vancouver team supported our client in executing product and lifestyle photoshoots.
Our work enabled Vesselle’s successful launch and has positioned the brand for future growth, with the launch of their Vancouver store scheduled for fall 2025.
